Harold Stephens, a leading independent financial adviser firm, is launching a community fund aimed at reducing social isolation among older adults in north-west Bristol.
The fund will offer grants of up to £500 to local groups needing financial support to organise events and activities that foster social connections and offer new experiences to older adults. The first round of grant applications will open close.
Amy Wood, community engagement officer for Harold Stephens, said: “We are thrilled to introduce this community fund. Our goal is to support local initiatives that make a real difference in the lives of older adults by fostering a sense of community and belonging.”
