Darren Nelson, head chef at Trymview Hall on Southmead Road, has been shortlisted for the Chef Award in the Care and Support West Care Awards 2026.
Darren, who has years of experience in restaurants and was previously executive chef for the Royal British Legion, joined Trymview Hall in 2019.
Nicole Anderson, home manager at Trymview Hall, said: “We’re thrilled that Darren has been shortlisted for an award that recognises his culinary ability and person-centred approach.”
